The Department of Education released the early registration process for the school year 2023- 2024. In the issued Department Order No. 10, s. 2023 or the amendment to DepEd Order No. 3, s. 2018, the early registration shall start on May 10 and end on June 9, 2023.
In the procedure, all incoming Kindergarten, Grade 1, 7, and 11 learners shall pre-register. On the other hand, Grades 2-6, 8-10, and 12 learners are excluded in the process as they are considered- pre-registered. Public elementary and secondary schools are tasked to implement the activity through face-to-face, but they are allowed to collect registration forms in various means. The revised Basic Education Enrollment Form (BEEF) shall be used.
DepEd directed all the schools to update registration data daily in the Early Registration facility in the Learner Information System (LIS).
