In a memorandum released by the Office of the Undersecretary for Administration, there are five million textbooks ready to be distributed to all public schools nationwide. In order to avail materials, the schools need to visit https://bookrequest.deped.gov.ph, the book request site made by the department.
The interested schools are also informed that they need to go the site until August 6, 2021. Registered DepEd school email account is needed in order to make requests. Moreover, there is a need to act immediately as first come, first served policy is implemented due to limited stocks.
If there are concerns or queries regarding with the process, the department stated that people can contact the Information and Communications Technology Service- User Support Division (ICTS- USD) through email at support.bookrequest@deped.gov.ph.
