The Department of Education (DepEd) has new Rapid Assessment of Damages Report (RADaR) mobile app. As of now, it is available on Google Play. The app aims to fast-track the reporting of infrastructure damages and non- infrastructure damages in the schools caused by natural hazards. It is also a tool to report if the classrooms are used as evacuation centers.

For the school Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) coordinators, you are advised to download the app now because tomorrow will be the rollout of RADar Web and Mobile Apps. DepEd Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Services posted on their Facebook page about the event that will start at 8 AM and will end at 12 noon. It will be shown on DepEd Philippines via Facebook Live.

For the participants, you need to register through this link: https://bit.ly/RADaRRollout2. You need to use your DepEd Email account for you to proceed. For Android users, the app is now available on Google Play. Click this as it will link you to the app. It will be soon available for IPhone users.

DepEd partnered with Save the Children Philippines and Prudence Foundation. The rollout will guide the participants on how the app works.
