DepEd Conducts Survey on the Opening of Classes for SY 2020- 2021

The Department of Education seeks the consensus of the public about the opening of the new school year through online survey.

On the Facebook Page of DepEd Undersecretary Annalyn Sevilla, the department is asking its stakeholders to get involved in the policy and decision- making about the start of classes in the school year 2020-2021.

DepEd made earlier pronouncement that classes will start on June 1, 2020 of the next school year. However, the department officials are still in talks if they will go for the original date as coronavirus pandemic remains a threat in handling face- to- face classes.

To participate in the survey, the department provided different links:

Based on the survey, teachers, parents, and students can fill up the online form. One can suggest when will be the suitable date to open the classes, and he can raise his concerns about the conduct of classes considering COVID-19.
