For the schools that were not able to conduct fourth quarter assessment because of class suspension made by Coronavirus Disease or CoVID 2019 threat, worry no more. The Department of Education released transmutation templates today that will help teachers compute grades sans the final exam.
Based on Facebook page post of DepEd, the grading and transmutation templates can be used by the "schools that are unable to administer the 4th Quarter Examination due to suspensions in their areas, where the fourth quarter grade of learners will be based on class standing composed of written work and performance tasks".
The available templates are for Grades 1 to 10, Senior High- Academic Track, and Senior High- TVL, Sports and Arts and Design Tracks which are downloadable in this link provided by the Department: http://bit.ly/Q4Grading Template.
To use the templates, teachers must refer to DepEd Memorandum 42, s. 2020. The teachers can encode the names of the learners, raw scores and highest possible scores for written work and performance tasks.
